What country are we living in where applause is forbidden? W. T. F. ?

I didn’t see the debate, but did watch the SOTU speech and noted that Mark Kirk was not mentioned. How sad is that?

BTW and for what it may be worth, I find plastic man Romney growing on me as well. The release of his tax returns has sparked much needed discussion on reform of the tax code. MUCH NEEDED.

I think Mitt has a chance at beating the incumbant, but only a small one. I do not think that Newton has the same chance as he is vulnerable in several respects including his need for affirmation from the audience and the fact that he married “Mary Kay Laterno” in his first marital experiment. Mitt has no such skeletons that we know of and continues to make an adequate showing. If Bain Capitol is the best (or worst) thing Obama has against Mitt, then he ain’t got much to run on or talk about. However, killing OBL may be enough to get him re-elected.

I think the media has found Newt’s weakness. In last night’s debate on NBC, the normally fiery debater was rather subdued by silence. He apparently feeds off the audience applause, which was not allowed last night.

I suspect we’ll see many more debates where applause is forbidden.

Just now getting good. Newt is an awesome debater, but that don’t win political races when you got baggage like Newt. I must admit that despite his resignation in disgrace after ethics violations, his tawdry affairs and triple marraiges and his refinding the Catholic faith, he is kinda growing on me.

Did you know that his first wife was his HS geography teacher?

Despite all of the “bad” stuff, he is probably the most qualified candidate to be president.

Huntsman and now perry have both suspended their campaigns. With 48 hours before south carolina, Newt has momentum on the heels of a brilliant debate performance.

Tonight’s debate is even bigger. If mitten has another bad performance all bets are off.
