Sorry Pats fans.
I predict a Bears-Jets Superbowl, but we gotta get past those pesky Packers first.

Apologies for not posting as much lately. I have just been busy.
I was glad to see that the reset of the country had to shovel snow just like me this week. Except Florida. They never have to shovel snow.
The tragedy in Tucson was very bad. I can’t believe that some folks want to blame expression of political views or movies that may have been watched by young Fucktard Loughner as being somehow responsible for his behavior. The dude is just a lunatic. HE is responsble for his behavior! Now the anti-gun groups will be out in force. I was delighted to see that Angels prevented the Fucktards from Westboro Baptist Church from disrupting at least one of the funerals. I can’t wait until Fred Phelps is dead so I can protest at his funeral. God really hates racist Fucktard Reverands.
This is what I saw this morning on the tollway on my way to work:
I am looking forward to another football filled weekend. Go Bears!

The SEC Rulz!
Here is a live cam of Toomer’s Corner in Auburn where they TP the place when they win. Strange to see snow on the ground there.

I shall be in Birmingham Alabama for a meeting on February 18, 2011. That meeting will be on South Bridge Parkway so I may stay in that area or maybe someplace where there is stuff around. I will likely add some additional time to the trip and snoop around with my camera and my thirst. I also usually hit thrift stores and yard sales, though I assume the latter is out of season. Dates may be February 17th, 19th and 20th? I won’t know the precise dates until late January or early February. Can anyone recommend some unique places to see, to eat, to goof off and/or does anyone want to join me for same?

Whaddya think about the Navy Captain who was relieved of his command after some four or five year old video comes out that was “inappropriate”?
I thought the video was well done and hilarious. I do not feel that he deserves to be run out of the service or his career.
Bovine fecal matter comes to mind…

Gloria Stuart, the 1930s Hollywood beauty who gave up acting for 30 years and later became the oldest Academy Award acting nominee as the spunky survivor in “Titanic,” died on Sunday, Sept. 26, of respiratory failure. She was 100.
In her youth, Stuart, pictured circa 1934, was a blond beauty who starred in B pictures as well as some higher-profile ones such as “The Invisible Man” and two Shirley Temple movies, “Poor Little Rich Girl” and “Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm.” But by the mid-1940s she had retired.
She resumed acting in the 1970s, doing occasional television and film work.
But Stuart’s later career would have remained largely a footnote if James Cameron had not chosen her for his 1997 epic about the doomed luxury liner that struck an iceberg and sank on its maiden voyage in 1912. Stuart co-starred as Rose Calvert, the 101-year-old survivor, played by Kate Winslet as a young woman.
