A LAWSUIT I AGREE WITH… FIRE ‘EM UP! WHAT A NIGHTMARE INDEED!
Week in Review
File under Week 39 of 2009.
We did NOT get to go to the BMW Championship last weekend, but I did enjoy watching it on TV. I did NOT enjoy watching the Bears lose to Green Bay on Sunday night, but I was in good company.
RIP to Patrick Swayze, Henry Gibson and Mary Travers, all who died this week. I loved CinLin’s comment about Laughing, Singing and Dirty Dancing. Very clever.
And just when you thought it was safe to go back in the shower…
Congrats to Juan Matin del Potro who won the US Open Tennis Tournament on Monday night over Roger Federererer. That was some incredible tennis. I played really good golf on Monday in an outing that was very fun.
This was my favorite video of the week. I could use him to come over to my house and whack some weeds.
New Guiness World Records came out this week.I don’t care what you think of his music, but Kanye West is a Fucktard. According to TMZ, Katy Perry’s Tweet on the incident read: “Katy Perry: F**K U KANYE. IT’S LIKE U STEPPED 0N A KITTEN.” Here are the rest of my nominees for Fucktard of the Week:
Aimee Louise Sword. OMG. How could she? Why would she? Very sick. She is a monster. Maybe that’s what happened to Kanye West?
This 15 year old Texas kid who stabbed his momma while pretending to hug her. Maybe Kanye West offed his momma in the same way?
Raymond Clark apparently killed that poor girl at Yale and put her behind a wall. The circumstantial evidence seems pretty strong. I wish someone would do that to Kanye West.
(NOTE: This is not a disclaimer. All references to Kanye West are made in the ultimate of First Amendment Rights and Priviledges. They are intended to be humorous in nature, about a public figure and I have no idea about Mr. West and his past, present or future relationship with his deceased mother other than what I learned on the new Jay Leno Show. Oh, and he can kiss my lilly white ass.)Top headlines of the week:
Woman dies after catching fire during surgery. Whatever she had, I don’t want.
MOM ACCUSED OF TRYING TO DROWN BABY IN TOILET FIT TO STAND TRIAL. Why would a toilet need to be fit to stand trial? And yes, this woman is also a Fucktard.I understand WeirdSin went to the Alice Cooper show recently and I would love to hear the review. I took the kids to watch the Cubbies get slaughtered by the Brewers on Wednesday night. Somehow, I bet the two events were similar.
Looks like I have a pass to play golf and go to a football game in Carbondale with Sal Uki next weekend. I am very much looking forward to that.
Enjoy your freedoms and happy healthy weekends to all.

X’s
There was some interest in the post I stuck up some time ago involving my hubby’s ex-fiancée (from this point forward I will call her Wrinkles) who showed up from the state of California and was invited over for a visit that ended rather abruptly. Just as bad pennies always return, Wrinkles has entered the picture again. After the visit to our house, she stayed around the area visiting her adult children and apparently Mike’s older brother, Bud. Wrinkles then returned to California and kept in touch by phone with Bud. Bud is married to a woman who is older than his mother and they are separated. Shortly after the visit, Bud began referring to Wrinkle’s son as his son and even brought him to a family reunion where he introduced him to everyone as the son of his fiancée. This weekend Bud informed my husband that Wrinkles is returning to Missouri and they will be renting a place together and wanted to know how he felt about this situation. Mike told him he thought it was a mistake as the woman was never faithful to him, is looking for a way to return to Missouri without much expense and have someone to help her get a roof over her head. He told Bud he would accept the situation though, since Bud apparently “loves” Wrinkles now, but that the woman could not come to our home and we would not be going to theirs. I hope that the place they rent is at least 50 miles away. I don’t want to see her face again. I’m not jealous, I just don’t like woman who use their bodies to obtain a roof and paid living expenses.

Week in Review
File under Week 38 of 2009.
Can you believe that we are two weeks into September already? Today is Patriot Day. Let us never forget.
A baseball player that I don’t like, who plays for a team that I don’t like did something pretty special this week. On the flip side, a basketball player that I love, who plays for a team that I still try to love, got a very special honor last night in Springfield, MA.
I bet you this kids parents never forget his birthday or the time he was born. They coulda given him a more appropriate name, doncha think? Three-squared? Quint Niner? Trip? Nueve?
Fucktards ‘O the Week:
Keith Marriot got drunk and started playing dead and throwing sea creatures at teenagers in Madiera Beach, FL.
Serial rapist Walter Ellis from Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a Fucktard. Have you seen his pic? OMG.
Dennis Carter, Sr. at least had the good decency to off himself after killing his wife and Dennis, Jr.. Sick bastard.
David Collins. In all fairness, he didn’t see the baby when he swung the bat. Right.
Rep. Joe Wilson was disrepectful to POTUS during his speech on Wednesday night. His liberal opponent raised over $340k the next day in campaign contributions and Wilson has made himself a target of the far left.
Calvin Dunlap is a Fucktard for even asking about Ben Roethlisberger’s list of female conquests. The Steelers did manage to beat the Titans last night in the NFL season opener despite no running game and an important injury.
The folks at the Baltimore office of ACORN are clear Fucktards. I was very tempted to make ANYONE associated with ACORN a Fucktard, but they may not all be. I said “may”.This is one of those ideas that I secretly wish that I had thought of, but am glad that I did not.
We have plans to visit the BMW Championship at Cog Hill tomorrow. It should be fun. Enjoy your freedoms and happy healthy weekends to all.

Two Speeches
The President gave two speeches this week. The one I didn’t watch (at least when it was originally broadcast) was his address to school age kids that was broadcast around the country into elementary, middle and high schools. For some reason, it was not shown at our local High School. However, I found the objections to the speech to be somewhat petty and disengenuous. How can we be offended by the President of the United States telling kids to stay in school and try harder? Honestly, I have no problems with that speech whatsoever. It was very Presidential and I think he had good intentions. I saw no hidden motives or attempts at liberal “indoctrination” at all.
Howsofuckingever, last night’s Health Insurance (let’s be honest and stop calling it “health care” because that is NOT what this is about) speech to an ad hoc joint session of Congress really pissed me off. I am very surprised at the demonizing of the insurance industry as a whole. Insurance Companies do good things when bad things happen, don’t they?
The speech was somewhat rhetorical, with a strange tone and offered NOTHING in the way of a road map to solving the problem.
Now, I work for an insurance company. My father worked for the insurance company and lots of my friends work for insurance companies. We don’t work for health insurance companies (mostly we do specialty lines of coverage and my dad was in the life insurance business), and have to buy health insurance like the rest of you. I am a consumer of health insurance and don’t like the hefty price, but have enjoyed many benefits from having it over the years. I think the bills for my daughter’s birth over 14 years ago were over $35k and we paid a $10 co-pay.
Some of what the President said bothers me a lot:
“we cannot have large businesses and individuals who can afford coverage game the system by avoiding responsibility”…
Who is he talking about? Who exactly is “gaming the system”? Me and my employer can afford it and pay a lot for health insurance. I wanna know how are we gonna pay for this “plan”?? Apparently, we will use the money saved from taking out fraud and abuse of Medicare and other insurance. Give me a break. If we can do that, let’s do it now. It may be needed to save Medicare. Insurance Companies work on combatting fraud and abuse every day. Part of the claims that get denied, are, guess what,…fraudulent. They try not to pay claims that are abusive of the rules of the system. That enures to their benefit as profit and is an attempt at trying to hold down costs.
“The only thing this plan would eliminate is the hundreds of billions of dollars in waste and fraud, as well as unwarranted subsidies in Medicare that go to insurance companies”.
Again, if that is the case, let ‘s pull the trigger on elimination of fraud and waste NOW. The thing about it is that you just can’t legislate that away. Good luck trying. Just waive your magic hand and make it so Mr. President. The subsidies that go to the insurance carriers are reimbursements for what they paid out that Medicare owed. I don’t understand the math here.
“I will make sure that no government bureaucrat or insurance company bureaucrat gets between you and the care that you need.”
Who will administer this plan? Some other kind of bureaucrat I suspect.
“But by avoiding some of the overhead that gets eaten up at private companies by profits and excessive administrative costs and executive salaries, it could provide a good deal for consumers, and would also keep pressure on private insurers to keep their policies affordable and treat their customers better, the same way public colleges and universities provide additional choice and competition to students without in any way inhibiting a vibrant system of private colleges and universities.”
Say what? So we will run this new health insurance like a university? Ever know anyone that got rejected from a college or university? Maybe it will be college and educational bureaucrats who will administer this so called “plan”? Those people are so much better at treating their customers well. Once again, give us a break.
“Now, much of the rest would be paid for with revenues from the very same drug and insurance companies that stand to benefit from tens of millions of new customers. And this reform will charge insurance companies a fee for their most expensive policies, which will encourage them to provide greater value for the money”
Huh? Boy if that isn’t political bureaucratic double-speak, I don’t know what is. How does taxing the fee for the most expensive policy encourage the insurance company to provide greater value? I am nearly certain it would encourage just the opposite.
And then we go and say “the ones who suffer silently” are the ones who have been writing e-mails and need to be heard. Wow. Sounds like something our last President might have been mercilessly chastized for saying.
BTW: Joe Wilson is a Fucktard for heckling the President. That is just bad form. Show a little respect dude. The world is watching.

THE MARINES IN HELMAND PROVINCE…
“…
Lt. Col. Matthew Kolich’s unit, Regimental Combat Team 3, is responsible for operations in southern Helmand province, an area known as a Taliban stronghold. He sees the results of the Marines’ efforts in increased interaction with locals and more frequent visits by the provincial and district governors.“The local nationals are starting to come over to our side,” said Kolich, assistant operations chief for RCT-3. “The Taliban are on their last legs in some areas … Locals are capturing Taliban and turning them over to Afghan security forces. Over the last few weeks, we have been able to make huge strides in freedom of movement.”
