This excerpt pretty much summarizes the feelings of the leaders of the Third Reich… Pretty telling and scary…

“…The Jews are re-emerging. Their spokesman is the well-known notorious Leopold Schwarzschild;* he is now arguing in the American press that under no circumstances should Germany be given lenient treatment. Anyone in a position to do so should kill these Jews off like rats. In Germany, thank God, we have already done a fairly complete job. I trust that the world will take its cue from this.” …

I still cannot believe that the Bears are in the Super Bowl. Even though every TV news program has on-site reports from all over Miami (this morning, Randy Salerno from Channel 2 was near some gator pond making jokes about ginormous frogs in the swamps and the Miami weather), I still can’t believe it.
Last night, I went to Sports Authority and purchased paraphenalia for the family. I paid $188 for jerseys, a hat and a tee shirt. I went with the Urlacher jersey ($80!!) just in case Devon Hester loses the game for us. Mrs. FB went with the white jersey and got Grossman’s name on the back. I am fairly certain that the #54 jersey is the most expensive piece of clothing I have ever purchased for myself short of a jacket or a suit.
Here is the requisite Manning story from the BBC and here is a little article about the comic book heroes that make up the Bears team.
The next four days will pass very slowly me thinks.
Connecticut is one of the most poorly run States in the country. It might as well be East germany in 1970. Dickwad politicians!!!

Here is today’s Super Bowl article. Mr. Grossman needs to be “good Rex” on Sunday. I really think the Bears can win this game and surprise the Manning clan and sports writers all over the planet. I am taking the kids out today to get Bears paraphenalia to wear to school. I want a Devin Hester jersey, but may go the safe route with one from #54.
Oh heck, here is another article on the Miami scene that includes a short part about Shaquille O’Neal arresting a couple of dudes who hit his Escalade as well as why Bears Coach Lovie Smith imposed a midnight curfew on his Monsters in Miami. And One more from the Indy Star about the familiar “lack of respect” for the Bears. Check in and see if they posted my comment there or not…
