I was glad to see that the reset of the country had to shovel snow just like me this week. Except Florida. They never have to shovel snow.

The tragedy in Tucson was very bad. I can’t believe that some folks want to blame expression of political views or movies that may have been watched by young Fucktard Loughner as being somehow responsible for his behavior. The dude is just a lunatic. HE is responsble for his behavior! Now the anti-gun groups will be out in force. I was delighted to see that Angels prevented the Fucktards from Westboro Baptist Church from disrupting at least one of the funerals. I can’t wait until Fred Phelps is dead so I can protest at his funeral. God really hates racist Fucktard Reverands.

An even better football story was the Redskins-Eagles game on Monday night when Michael “The Pit Bull” Vick broke all kinds of records.

The WTF headline of the week? How about this one? This one ranked second. Not a too distant third was this BBC headline about the President’s reaction to the election results.

The formal election results from Tuesday are still being tabulated in some parts, but it looks like there was a clear mandate by the electorate: stop effing around and get working on the economy. The surest sign? Mark Kirk, a republican, won the seat formerly occupied by the President. The biggest disappointment: Harry “Balls” Reid won again in Nevada. What is wrong with those people?

RIP to Sparky “Captain Hook” Anderson. When I was a kid, the Cinncinnati Reds “Big Red Machine” were huge. I recall seeing Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan and others at Lopez field in Tampa for Spring training when Sparky was the manager of the team.

I participated in a panel discussion on Wednesday on the future of Lawyer Malpractice claims. It was mildly interesting and I now have a skirt that is so completely full of smoke that it is coming out of my ears.

Indonesia scored the weather hat trick with an earthquake, tsunami and a volcanic eruption this week. The poor bastards. The Midwest was blown around on Tuesday and Wednesday with wind gusts up to 80 MPH. I have yet to survey the damage to my private forest, but did have to move a limb or two out of the driveway.
