OLD JUGGERNUTS SITE

FYI TO ALL JUGGHEADS: I have requested a copy of the old program that ran the ‘Old Jugg’ site. If this works, we may have full access to the old blog dating back to September 2003 which should include comments and ‘more’ sections. I will need help once I get the program so volunteers are needed. I know Trench is smart enough but I think he is very busy. Feste knows somebody who may be able to help. I will have to host the old site separately so we’ll have to see how it goes. I would really like to have to old stuff up again as there were some classic posts with pics and stories that should not be lost to history.

Stay tuned

Congrats to the Gators

CATAGORIES: BONERS,ROLL TIDE,SPORTS — FloridaBill @ 8:42 am

I have a small sports hangover this morning and am up early after watching the SEC Championship game as well as the lead-up to it all day yesterday. I also caught a little of the Sooners v. Missouri for the Big 12 Championship. I fell asleep watching the second game.

The Gators played better and made no mistakes. Bama made two bad ones: a fake field goal from 49 yards (with a new kicker who had not played all year) that failed miserably and then Javier Arenas caught a punt while stepping out of bounds on the three yard line. Florida inflicted pain on Bama each time with the ensuing field position. There was a legit facemasking call that hurt hard as well. Tebow, who deserves the Heisman again, was stellar and they won the game 31-20 after going into the fourth quarter trailing. They completely dominated that quarter. Florida even played without their star running back, William Percy Harvin, III. What a game.

Congrats to the Gators and I hope they beat Okalahoma and win the National Championship.

WTF?

CATAGORIES: ROLL TIDE,SPORTS,WTF — FloridaBill @ 2:00 pm

#1 Alabama is a nine and a half point underdog to the #2 Gators? What do you think of that? I think it is great motivation for Coach Saban and the Tide.

Alabama Claims No. 1 Spot in College Football’s BCS Standings

Nov. 2 (Bloomberg) — The University of Alabama took over the No. 1 spot in college football’s Bowl Championship Series standings after Texas Tech’s last-second upset of the University of Texas.

The Crimson Tide, ranked second last week, improved to 9-0 after a 35-0 win over Arkansas State yesterday in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In Lubbock, Texas, Graham Harrell’s 28-yard touchdown pass to Michael Crabtree gave Texas Tech a 39-33 win over former No. 1 Texas at Jones AT&T Stadium.
