WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? HUH?

“…Investigators said the wife lay down on the bed and Lonnie Pinnix shot her in the back with the toilet paper ammunition when she refused his demands to get back up…”

Does this mean that when I wipe my butt I am assaulting my sphincter with a deadly weapon?

What’s going on with Dane?

CATAGORIES: FAMILY,FASCINATING,I hate it when this happens,ROLL TIDE — DaneBramage @ 12:03 pm

Well I’ll tell ya. Monday at 7:00 a.m. I will undergo surgery to have my left hip replaced. I have a condition called Bi-Lateral Avascular Necrosis which means basically that both of the ball-and-socket joints in my hips are dead and crumbling. They can only do one hip at a time due to rehab issues and the chance of infection. When it’s all said and done, I’ll have a brand new state-of-the-art Titanium/Ceramic hip joint on the left!! Mucho pain is expected, but I have been in constant pain for a little over 2 years so 6 more months is the light at the end of this tunnel. Whatever your beliefs, prayers and/or positive thoughts this way are welcomed!! I will be unable to “Hit the Nut” for a while (I won’t be able to access this site either). Well wishes to you all!! BTW I have lost 95+ lbs. since September!! So this surgery should go much better than the last. I have a disc with the x-rays on it but It uses proprietary software and I can’t figure how to convert the image files into something standard that I can post here. May someone can call Feste and he can explain what’s wrong with my hips. Uzi will post pics under my name sometime next week.

A MESSAGE FROM THE HEAD OF SCIC:

This was on our home page this morning. I think it’s a very nice thing to do. Only the names have been changes to protect their identitiy and certain peoples employment…

A Message from [Leader of SCIC]

I have been a part of this wonderful organization since 1992, and over these almost 20 years, I have become convinced that there is something very special – even extraordinary – about the SCIC family. If it’s possible for an organization to have a spirit, I believe we do. It is carried in the hearts of more than 30,000 employees who feel an unusual connection, an attachment almost, to the organization. It is extraordinary, and it is one of the elements that make working here so very exceptional.

I’m sorry to share with all of you the sad news that one of our own has lost one of her own in service to our country. We learned that Ben Osborn, the son of Beverly Osborn of our Glens Falls, New York office, was killed in service in Afghanistan. Ben’s funeral service will be held later today. I know that all of you will feel deeply for the entire Osborn family as they mourn the loss of their son.

I recognize that there may be other members of employees’ families who have served and been lost. If you have lost a family member in active service, please send me a comment through this link, and we will post the names of others who have died serving our country so that we can recognize them all.

I also want to embrace a tradition that began during World War I but that carried throughout the wars of the 20th century. Flags were displayed from homes, businesses, schools and churches to indicate, through the use of a blue star on the flag, each active service member in the U.S. military. If a family received notification that their loved one had been lost, the star was changed to a gold star.

For the next year, our company stationery will be printed with a small star at the bottom of the page. The star will have no explanation, but it won’t need one. We will all understand that it is a silent recognition of Ben’s and others’ remarkable service, and it will serve as a daily reminder to all of us – about the service of all young men and women who stand in harm’s way every day.

My wife, [Leader-in-law], and I extend our sincere condolences to the entire Osborn family and to other families who have lost loved ones in the service of our country, and we hope that the wonderful memories of these sons and daughters will warm their hearts.

THIS IS A VERY EVIL THING TO DO TO SOMEBODY:

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — A West Hartford man has been arrested on charges he posted a bogus advertisement on the Web site Craigslist.org advertising group sex with a “soccer mom.”

Philip Conran is accused of posting the ad, which directed interested men to his neighbor’s home.

Conran’s alleged ad said a soccer mom at the family’s address wanted to have sex with as many men as possible. Within two hours of the ad being posted, police said 12 men showed up at the house, located in West Hartford’s South End.

THOUGHT THIS WAS FUNNY AND CLEVER…

TOUGH MORNING… ALREADY

We’re putting Satchmo to sleep in about 1 hour. He seems to know for some reason. He is crying and he has never done that before.

He can’t drink water anymore and he has a tough time swallowing… I imagine it’s like if I had a super bad sore throat. He has been unable to clean himself like he used to… He was a meticulously clean cat. He was crusty and stinky yesterday so Mariann and I gave him a warm bath and shampooed him. After he was dried he seemed to be very happy with how he looked. It’ll be real tough at the vet office but we both know we’re doing the right thing… He is just beginning to be unhappy and unable to function. Our other cat, Ella, doesn’t give a crap…

Anyway, that is what is happening on this 35 degree rainy Wednesday morning…

POOTER SATCHMO DIAGNOSED WITH MALIGNANT TUMOR ON HIS TONGUE :-(

We just got back from the vet and Satchmo has cancer. We will probably have to send him off on a kitty journey in three or so weeks… Sad news… He is a good pooter. We figure he is about 15 to 16 years old…

Here is a pic of pooter Satchmo from 2001:
