“unusually harsh” seems accurate to me. Granted his crimes are heinous, but Jeff Skilling did worse and got off with a much lighter sentence.

That’s my point. We should have the death sentence for many things… That dude should have been fuuuuucked up! I wrote that song about him…
Anyway, as long as they don’t give the death penalty for anything I do I’m OK with it…

I don’t know if I go this far…but I do think that the penalties for elected government officials who abuse their office, especially for personal gain should be extra extra harsh.
I also think that some cases of rape and especially child molestation warrant the death penalty…as is being considered here in Texas. There are things I don’t like about this state but the way they treat criminals isn’t one of them : )
After typing that last line…I guess I have to say that with everything considered, this is probably the best all around place I have lived (and I have lived in a few)….now if I could just move all my Wisconsin friends down here : )
