I thought we would start today with a listing of my favorite headlines from the week:

Healthy Beer Drinking. That reminds me to thank my friend Fred for helping me with my sump-pump problem last Sunday. Thanks Fred. We had a little clean water in the basement because the pump went out and the snow melt is on. I owe you another one Fred…(I owe him several by now).

Forget Gum. Walking and using the phone is dangerous. Texting is worse. You can’t possibly watch where you are going if you are looking at the screen on your phone. Simple isn’t it? Now, we need to ban the damn things while driving.

Two arrested after Minn. Ice Fishing House Blows Up. Police allegedly FOLLOWED THE FOOTPRINTS back to the house where the two perpetrators were partying. Have people just gotten stoopider?

The situation in Haiti following the earthquake last week is not improving swiftly. Violence and lack of supplies are marring efforts to help. With no food, no water, no medical care and no work (unemployment was over 80% before the quake) it really is looking dismal. A strong aftershock hit on Wednesday (there was a smaller one last night) making a bad situation even worse. Can Haiti be rebuilt? Should it be? I say they level the entire place and begin anew.

Fucktards of the week:

I am not sure if there is a Fucktard in this whole late night fiasco, other than the network, NBC. My thing is this: does anyone really care? I do not, but I do think that Conan is funnier that Leno and Craig Ferguson put together. Apparently as a consolation prize to the loser, Conan gets millions. I wonder if NBC has any job openings cause their severance plan is awesome.

Christopher Spelight is a Fucktard this week for killing eight people and shooting down a police helicopter in Virginia.

John Edwards is a Fucktard (again) for finally admitting that he is the father of Reilly Hunter’s kid, Frances Quinn. Why did it take so long? She is nearly two years old Was he waiting for his wife to die first? That guy is a jizz-pouch.

Abdulhakim Muhammad‘s plea change to guiolty makes him a Fucktard. Not that he changed his plea so much as he now admits ties to Al Queda.

Finally, congratulations again to Scott Brown (an anti Fucktard), the new REPUBLICAN Senator from Massachusetts.
