I have been asked by SalUki on Facebook about the lighting on these. I can’t access Facebook at work so I will address it here.
The photo called Pan Plaza de Toros was shot at 200mm (x0.6 conversion) at f5.6 with on Canon flash about three feet away on the same level as the bread. It was set to manual power which I believe was 1/64th. It was also on zoom to 80mm to limit the width of the light.
The image below was the same lens and expousre but of course the flash is behind the bread and powered to 1/32. this time the wide flash adapter was used to flash as wide as possible.

I know it’s a LONG shot, but FB is coming out on March 19th, my 50th birthday, and we’re gonna hang out and maybe make a song, drink some beer, play some loud vinyl and generally have a great time. If you can convince your lovely spouse that this would be a very therapeutic getaway, I’d love to have you there.
