JOPLIN, MISSOURI. (AP) – Police are looking for two women who pulled off the daring theft of a high-end television set from a Wal-Mart store. Police on Monday said one of the women posed as a Wal-Mart employee and the second played the role of customer Sunday night. The duo made off with a 52-inch, flat-screen Samsung TV worth $1,300. By the time real Wal-Mart employees became suspicious, both women were gone. The phony employee was dressed as a Wal-Mart worker in tan slacks and a blue shirt and wore a communication device on her belt.

I did work at Wal-Mart during from the time I turned 16 to somewhere during the middle of my freshman year in college. I admit to having a Wal-Mart smock, name tag, and tracking device. I did loan the smock and tag to my boss, but cutting the tracking device off my ankle would have gotten me into a lot of trouble with my PO, you know…so maybe my boss had her blackberry on and stole the tv while visiting her family in the Joplin area. It works fine too. She got it home on her bug.
