Having been a cat owner of 2 cats previously…I can testify that it is no easy task to give a cat a bath. I know I know…”they clean themselves”…well…I had one that had a habit of getting into dirty spots on occassion and HAD to be bathed…no fun!
CNN just ran a little spot on this. I was a little torn but it only took ONE thing to make up my mind. PETA is against this contraption…therefore…I’m all for it : )

I’m a “cat person” and love the little critters, but…. sometimes you just have to laugh at it all.
It’s for doggies too, and even a human crawled in. Although I would have liked to have seen the human in there with a cat and not a dog.

I love it and want one for my two cats; one of which is lucky to be alive after it bit my daughter in the nose the other night. She begged me not to hurt it or I would have had a new hat…

I’m pretty notorious for emailing PETA whenever they do or say something stupid…which means I get to email them quite often. On one memorable occassion, I sent them a photo of my then very young still in diapers daughter sucking the BBQ sauce off of some baby back rib bones. I guess they got tired of the emails and actually sent me a “Stop sending us emails” email : )
I’m more of a “cat person” myself cinlin….but my daughter wanted a dog so now I have 2. I love ‘em…but I would still prefer cats…they are just easier all around than dogs. Having a dog is like having a perpetual 2-3 year old child.

But a dog has the capability of loving you back, unlike demonic felines who consider us a nuisance that gives them food.

Granted…both my dogs seem to worship the ground I walk on…but I had a cat that was my constant shadow. The darn thing wouldn’t go to sleep at night until I lifted the covers and he crawled underneath and put his face underneath my chin…for 13 years! The thing even rode my shoulders when I walked around the house. Everyday when I came home from work, the cat would jump up into my arms, lay on his back, hold my face with his paws and rub his face all over mine. Cats ARE capable of love..they are just few and far between..and cats usually do it on THEIR terms. ; )
