WHAT THE HELL ELSE ARE THEY ‘SPOSEDA DO???
Connecticut is one of the most poorly run States in the country. It might as well be East germany in 1970. Dickwad politicians!!!

I’m not too thrilled with your attorney general either.
I would argue that North Carolina probably beats Conn. for inept government. That was the most corrupt/inefficient state I have ever lived in (and I have lived in alot…including California). From local to state NC is a bunch of yahoos. I still refer to NC as the “armpit of America” with Durham being the main odor supplier for said armpit : )
You’ve obviously never lived in New Jersey.
Nope : ) I have heard stories though.
The birthplace of corruption.
It’s funny…whenever I think of NJ…I think of that old SNL skit (during one of the “bad periods” with Joe Piscapo and some other actresss I don’t know going…”We’re from Joisey…are you from Joisey?”
I am fairly certain that political corruption was invented long ago in a place far far away, but was clearly perfected in Chicago where we vote early and often and from the grave if needed. They don’t call it the Windy City because of the weather, it is because of the widnbag politicos who never cease to meddle and muck things up.
In terms of electricity, I live in a little municipality that generates its own electricity and the town runs the utility company to supply the spark to its residents, ergo, we pay about a third of what it costs the other utility customers in the state. Apparently it is cheaper to heat with electricity than oil or gas in my town.
I hear it is really cheap to heat by burning yak dung…..something to ponder.
Feste, I live in CT and have never heard of such a thing. Please elaborate.
First, you get a yak. Then you feed it enormous amounts of yak food. Once the yak is finished with the food, it will produce dung which must then be dried or cured (cause it will not burn when it is freshly shat). Once cured, you can use it in your pot belly stove and heat your abode on the cheap. Cheap being a relative term and does not necessarily mean that you will save any money. Yak’s are not cheap. I doubt that you can get one in CT very easily. I think yak food is sort of cheap, but the whole shovelling and drying thing is time consuming and must be stinky. I think I will live with electric heating devices and use my fireplace as backup.
If I need any home heating oil, I am sure that I can count on the illustrious Ugo Chavez to just give me some.
Shall we all sing a refrain from the “Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksman” song in appreciation for the noble yak?

I love the hand prints on the last set of frisbees.
Yes… exactly as FB said, jason. There are quite a few likely undocumented workers that work the poepper fields across the street from me (they travel in an econoline van, usually about 16 at a time, with a huge american flag decal on the back), and I think they may be able to collect the yak dung for me in the off season, and pat it down nice into nice circular tortilla like patties.

Somebody’s not doin’ much surgery todary… Guess who…
In my defense, I operated like a hound earlier this week, and did perform surgery bright and early at 7:30am today…..tomorrow I chop off a breast for cancer at 9:30 am, then return to the blogosphere after lunch… see you then.
Apparently I neglected the part about patting the yak dung into tortilla-like patties by hand.
Feste, you need not defend yourself to the BlogLord who took off the entire month after his mild grabber and blogged not at all until he got BACK to work. Best of luck in the OR.
Breast is off… cancer is at bay, in a jar somewhere…..patient doing fine.
