Died pretty young too…
I think he lived pretty hard. They found him several days after he died. That is pretty sad.
But Ron was not aware of the delay as far as I know…
prolly not…and now he won’t be there to be inducted into the R&R HOF. I am listening to the new Iggy Pop (Skull Ring) and a song called Little Electric Chair. It is rockin! Access here: http://www.iggypop.com/audio.asp

The other song there, Little Know It All, with Sum 41, sounds pretty marketable. Green Day and a couple other artists are on that release as well. I guess it came out a few years back.

Dane and I are on the phone. We agree that Ron Asheton is the father of punk rock. His brother is the god-father and Iggy was the skinny front man and voice of punk.
