And so it begins: Super Bowl Week. It is finally here. And The Monsters of the Midway Chicago Bears will meet the team that drafted John Elway, but he refused to play for them and then they left Baltimore under cover of darkness to sneak off to Indianapolis in 1984. I wonder if the Bears can’t just sneak the Lombardi trophy away from the Colts? We shall see.

I am afraid that the game will be lopsided one way or the other. Either the Bears defense will shut down the Colts or the Colts will destroy the Bears defense. I don’t see the Bears offiense figuring into it much.

Will will be skiing in the northern climes, because SuperBowl sunday is a vacant day on the slopes. Even if the Pats made it, I’d still be skiing.
