   I’m all for free political expression, but if I lived in Brattleboro and there was a pothole on my street, I’d be pretty pissed at the municipal government wasting it’s time with this crap.

   Just my $0.02.

   I agree with Sloel. It’s local polical schtick. I’d LOVE IT if a local Brat Constable tried to arrest Dick Cheney. He probably has more firepower than the entire Brat PD.

   From what I understand, it was a Town Meeting referendum kinda thingie in which the only cost spent by the town was the printing of the ballots.

   They have no money to spend on anything other than snow removal this time of year.
