Yesterday (Sunday) I was sitting in an Applebees’ restaurant eating my lunch. I saw this great new recruiting ad for the Marines. If you haven’t seen it it shows mile after mile of Dress Blues and precision drill with M1 rifles. It’s f*****g beautiful. The big finish for the spot? They are spread out against a backdrop of THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE!!! I laughed so hard part of my bacon CB flew out my nose. Silly Bay Area be-aches…
It’s time for the Marines, Navy, Army, Coast Guard and air Force, if there are any out there, to label the city of San Francisco “Off Limits”. This is a label that has been used often when troops are not allowed to go into certain area during their time off. This will piss off those towns something fierce! Take the money out of their pockets until they shape up.
