Way better. He can really shock the monkey. I hear there may a reunion with him and Genesis…get Phil back behind the drum kit where he belongs. They made some GREAT music together.

You do realize that Peter was Genesis’ ORIGINAL drummer?
When he stepped out to be the front man that’s when they brought in Collins. NURSERY CRIME was his 1st LP with genesis I believe.
Phil even got to sing a song on each record till Peter left.

Well, who was the lead dude when PG was behind the kit? (I will only ask once). I suppose I could go look it up myself…

There’s no such thing as a lead dude, all dudes are on equal footing in the realm of dudedom.

Good point dude.
Here is what Wikipedia said (about Genesis, not dudedom): Genesis was formed in 1967 when founding members Peter Gabriel and Tony Banks were students at Charterhouse School in Godalming. Formed out of school bands “Garden Wall” and “Anon”[3], the original line-up consisted of Peter Gabriel (vocals), Anthony Phillips (guitar), Tony Banks (keyboards), Mike Rutherford (bass & guitar) and Chris Stewart (drums).
