I saw Ike & Tina in concert, Germany, 1972 I think. Wolfman Jack, Lou Reed, Ozark Mountain Daredevils there as well.
Did Tina look battered? What about Lou Reed?
Now he’s up there takin’ a beating from Jesus (or maybe down ther takin’ a beating from the devil)…
HA!
Was not close enough to even see much. Concert was at a soccer field.
Ike doesn’t deserve to rest in peace. I want him to burn and feel the pain.
Cheers to Tina!
Would this qualify as…
BEATING A DEAD HORSE???
[rim shot]
I’ll be here all week folks…
Good to see jorsabeck back in the comments. I, as amazed as I may be, think I have to agree with cj on this.
The NY Post had the best headline for Ike’s passing. It read:
Ike “Beats” Tina to Death
I wish like hell that I had thought of that.
LOL. I love Sloel’s comment and that FB agrees with me once again!
