Juggerheads and Jugs
I spent the last 5 days in Durham, NC working on our house that we rent out. On Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting another fellow Juggerhead when Trench drove up from Charlotte to pay a little visit.
Trench arrived at about 5:30 and we immediately had a few beers and then left for my friend Jill’s house in Chapel Hill. We had a few more beers (and I hit the magic gurgling device) with her and her husband, and then the 3 of us went to BW3’s in downtown Chapel Hill. Our other softball friend, Caroline, was going to meet us there a little later. Jill informed us that for Caroline’s 29th birthday a few months ago, as a present to herself, she got her nipples pierced. As we pondered this (me and Trench) Jill said, “Ask her to show them to you, she’s REAllY proud of them so she probably will.” After some wings and beer, Caroline shows up and sits down and starts drinking with us. After about 10 minutes, Jill brings up her nipple rings and the conversation eventually gets to, “Let’s see ‘em.” Caroline laughed and said something about, “Not here…maybe later.” After a few more drinks we headed back to Jill’s where she had to ring the bell and wake up her husband to let us in as she had forgotted her keys. Sam opened the door pretty bleary eyed, Jill whispered in his ear, and he immediately perked up, came into the garage and started passing out beers…heh heh heh. To make a long story short, Trench now has something that he can write home to his mom about. Hope you had a good time Trench!!!!! : )

I also couldn’t resist getting a “Duke Lacrosse” T-Shirt at the airport as I left town. Hope you had a good time Trench and I apologize for the “Spartan” accomadations.
I had such a blast. Did you seriously get a Duke Lacrosse shirt? That so rocks.

Oh everytime his friends asked us how we met I said “Through a website…match.com“.
That was on Jill’s camera. I’ll call and ask her to email it.

Went to Asheville NC this past weekend for Zappa plays Zappa show. Truely Carolina HardCore Ecstasy. Asheville has some great beer and is loaded with hippies. Also, picked fresh wild mt blueberrys on the Blue Ridge Parkway. YUM !
I am sorry that I missed this (the jugs, beers and the Zappa show). Sounds like a lot of fun!

I also want ZC, Trench, Weirdsin and Jade (and everyone else) to all come to Hartford for JuggFest III next month…
Every Juggfest should include titties and beer. The BlogLord tells me his photosharing site gets bombarded with hits to the “JuggFest” index. The most interesting thing the poor bastards clicking through the idex see is FB swimming in Sleestak blood.
Sounds like a veritable JuggFest South!!!… one of these days, we’ll arrange an aligning of the planets and all get to the BlogLords house for the big one. And I wanna see nipple rings there.

It is fun to see how this blog has got so many people who would never have knowen each other to visit and become friends. How cool!!!
I have been traveling on business a lot. Friday I was in Pittsburgh and then Tuesday and Wednesday, I was in Tampa and Sarasota florida. I didn’t arrive back at the Hartford apirport until 12:10 AM Thursday… Such is the life of an insurance company working stiff… That’s OK, I don’t mind. I do mind missing the JuggJugg though.
It is VERY cool!
Sooner or later, I AM going to make an Official Juggfest!!!!!
Next month, the 22nd in Hartford. Just let us know when to fetch you from the airport…
Wow Zappa I can’t believe you were in Chapel Hill!! I don’t know if you remember my best friend Dwight or not - but he’s the Economic Development Officer of Chapel Hill now. He left here in May. I keep hitting the ‘escape’ button - but I’m still here!
And just for the record, off topic, my (not so baby) girl left for college this past weekend.
