Cool…right in time for me to blast PETA and their hypocritical stance on Michael Vick : )

  2. Yarbz says:

    What’ up with PETA?

  3. ZappaCrappa says:

Well…they are demanding that Vick be fired. Not that I have a problem with it…it’s disgusting…it’s just that for PETA to demand it is hypocritical considering that just last year, 2 of their own were up on close to the same charges in North Carolina AND indicted (just like Vick) and PETA stood by their own homegrown little animal murderers and said on their website, “that we should all just wait until AFTER they were tried before making any judgements.” Nevermind the fact that THEIR 2 little animal murderers were collecting animals under false pretenses and killing them as soon as they could get them in their van…completely healthy dogs and cats at that. I think they then dumped the carcasses in a grocery store dumpster. I think that reeks a tad bit of hypocrisy : )

And I don’t know about you guys…but the fact that I find myself on the same page as PETA makes me more than a tad uncomfortable ( I don’t even like being in the same book…much less the same page as those asshats) and I might possibly reconsider my position based on that fact alone : )

It would kind of be like finding myself agreeing with Michael Moore…(based on the very slim chance that he ever got something right)…but I’ll be damned before I would EVER admit it! : P

I emailed PETA about their hypocrisy in this case and received this in response:

NOTE: We read all messages, but we receive quite a large amount of mail every day, so the use of automation allows us to respond more quickly and saves PETA resources that are vital for our efforts to make a difference for animals. We hope you will forgive the use of this form letter, but we believe that this information should address most concerns or questions you may have about this matter.

Thank you for contacting PETA about Michael Vick’s indictment on charges related to dogfighting following an April raid on the NFL quarterback’s property in Surry County, Virginia. We appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts with us.

PETA is pushing for felony cruelty-to-animals charges to be filed by the Surry County commonwealth’s attorney. Although Vick’s case has yet to be tried in court, it is PETA’s job to speak up for animals, and we do so before, during, and after convictions in every case where people—celebrities or otherwise—are accused of hurting animals. We always push for charges to be filed and for stiff punishment to be meted out if defendants are convicted.

As you may know, authorities reportedly found 66 dogs—including 55 pit bulls, some malnourished, scarred, and wounded—and paraphernalia associated with dogfighting. We have heard from many people who have expressed their disgust at these abuses and we are working hard to ensure that justice is done. The 18-page indictment (www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2007/0717072vick1.html) against Vick and three other men (Purnell A. Peace, Quanis L. Phillips, and Tony Taylor) describes a grisly underground enterprise that must have taken careful planning and strategy to put together. A rural piece of property was allegedly purchased specifically for breeding, raising, and training dogs for fighting, and those who did not “perform well” were tortured and killed by hanging, drowning, beating, and electrocution.

Of course this answered NONE of the issues I brought up. I sent them this in response:

    Dear PETA,
Thank you for once again sending me an automated response that does nothing to address the issues I contacted you about. I expected nothing less. Your hypocrisy and unwillingness to confront your hypocrisy only furthers my belief that you are all a bunch of pussified dumbasses with the moral integrity of a drunk Kennedy.

Also…I would also like you to consider that your organization is without a doubt, RACIST! That’s right…RACIST! If Wisconsin can be labled as “racist” by PETA for being called “The Dairy State” because most lactose intolerant people are minorities, then you can easily own the RACIST moniker. Dog fighting has become an urban event usually associated with young black men. PETA ASSUMES that Vick is guilty….I guess because he is a young black man…therefore…he MUST be guilty. Racists!

Now…for the THIRD time, please explain to me the difference between the way you are treating Vick and the way you treated PETA’s own for basically the same crime. I know…you can’t. Have I said “morally bankrupt idiots” yet?

Gotta run…ribs are cooking and I got to clean my hunting rifle and clean my fishing reels plus teach my daughter how to field clean a deer. I’m looking forward to your lack of actually responding to ANYTHING that I have addressed and reading yet another automated response that actually answers nothing.

    Kiss my ass,
    Neal Woodward

Sooner or later the FBI is going to show up at my house : ) they have told me twice to stop emailing them…I just change hotmail accounts and go for the gusto again…snicker snicker. I hate PETA.

  6. Go get ‘em Zappa!!!

  7. FloridaBill says:

Go get ‘em indeed. This seems to have touched a nerve. Vick is an asshat rivaled only by the folks at PETA.

  8. Yarbz says:

    PETA is for turds.

Vick is a Turd with a capitol “T”

Therefore, they can have each other. I’d like to see Vick Pitbulls rip apart several PETA protestors and then turn on Vick himself. This would be something I’d pay to see.

Wouldn’t it be nice if a giant pitbull shaped asteroid suddenly blasted through the atmosphere and crushed Michael Vick and the PEEDUH Pricks?

  9. ZappaCrappa says:

I think that Vick’s life, as he currently knows it, is probably over. You can do some pretty awful things and get away with it in the court of public opinion (just ask Kobe Bryant), but there are certain things that the public just doesn’t let slide…this is one of them. I’d be surprised if we ever see him in an NFL uniform again.

  10. Yarbz says:

If Vick was caught with fighting cats, he’d have probably been let off the hook. Or what is he had fighting gerbils? Or worse yet, Anal Gerbils! Or even worserer, Fighting Anal Goebbels!!! Everyone hates Fighting Anal Goebbels!
